Last Christmas I replicated this great washi tape reindeer on my very empty, very white kitchen wall. A year later, I figured it was time for something new and I will be changing up my kitchen wall by putting up a quote I really like. Because that kids, is the amazing part about washi or masking tape. When you’re bored of it, you can just take it off. Something that isn’t so easy when you stenciled it on your wall. Washi tape can not only be used on your walls, there are so many ways in which you can get creative. The best part about this material is that you can find it in all kinds of colors and patterns and it will not break the bank. Here are 10 of my favorites:

I’ve been loving my new trey from Ezis Living. Turns out it was exactly what has been missing in my interior. It was more difficult than it seems to find a simple black trey at a reasonable price, believe me, I’d been looking for a while. If they weren’t sold out on the website, I’d definitely order a second one. I’ve discovered that treys and platters aren’t only great for their obvious use, -carrying stuff-, but also add structure to your interior when you have a lot of little bowls, knick knacks and candles. It’s Christmas Time

You can’t have “loves christmas decorations” on your About page and never write a post about exactly that. I have always loved Christmas and the period around it. My fondness grew even bigger while living in Copenhagen a couple of years ago. The city that is in my opinion still the most beautifully decorated city I’ve seen so far.  If you are ever there in the months November and December, a visit to Tivoli‘s Christmas market is definitely worth while. I still hang the christmas ball that I bought there in my tree every single year.

I love the completely over the top -kitsh gone crazy- christmas decors but gravitate more towards the minimalistic scandinavian approach. Don’t get me know, my decorations definitely aren’t black and white but I did keep it simple with a two color pallet of gold and purple. Next to that I have completely gone all out on reindeer, love that beautiful animal. God Jul!

After the bedroom post, I promised to show more of my house. Well, here’s step one: The living room, or at least some quick snaps of it, taken by night when I’d just tidied the place up. I’ll show you more (including the view) soon. Greetings from the cozy couch above.
