I have been meaning to post about my favorite sneakers at the moment, my Fretons, for some time now. Having told you before about my first Fred de la Bretonière love, I just recently discovered that this brand produces their high quality accessories in an ecological manner. They use plantbased methods to tan their leather which also develops a nicer quality (read more here). While Fred de la Bretonière has been developing shoes since the 70s, the Fretons, with their whimsical leather shoe laces, are the latest addition to collection.
They have been my go-to flat shoe for a while now since they’re one of the few pairs of shoes that I didn’t need to break in and they remain ever so comfortable, even after going shopping for hours on end. Because they have quite an robust feel, I prefer wearing them with either a skinny jeans or with a skin tight dress. The latter preferably combined with a loss knit over the top.
