It was my birthday on sunday, and after coffee, cake and pizza with the family, we went to see the new James Bond movie. This reminds me of evenings at home with my folks when I was young. Whenever there was Bond on TV, there was no question what we’d be watching. From Goldfinger to Goldeneye, it was always fun to emerge yourself in the exciting world of 007.
You never expected too much and you always got what you signed up for. Action, bad guys, bond girls and some pleasant clichés. And obviously, you had some favourites. I’m picking Connery over Brosnan any day. It was all smooth sailing and effortless action. And then there was Daniel Craig. I immediately loved him in Casino Royale, this new kind of tough Bond with a troubled psyche and a soft side. Read more..
I didn’t recognize her at first, but this little white riding hood thing Denni’s got going on here is absolutely stunning. The cape is Givenchy and I am willing to adopt it if she ever gets tired of it.

I’ve never had the urge to go stand in line at the H&M collaborations until now. I have to say I had my reservations when I heard that MMM was going to be the next big designer collaboration but they proved me wrong. Gorgeous pieces complete with the full Martin Margiela feel. Well done, can’t wait until the 15th of November!
I had a difficult relationship with sweaters for a about 5 years now. But recently I have renewed my love for the garment and since then I found myself wanting to buy new sweaters non stop. I like mine a little bit oversized and maybe with a bare shoulder. Tucking part of the sweater in my trousers has almost become a signature look for me. Lately however I’ve gotten fascinated with the sweater maxi skirt combo (also seen here). Perfect for the cold winter and let’s admit, what’s cooler than walking with the wind blowing through your maxi skirt?
I actually walked into the Acne store to buy black pistol boots. I’d been craving them since forever, but there was never a right time to buy them. When I tried them on, something felt wrong. They pinched my feet and made them look bigger. Oh bugger. I tried on the Star boots and was instantly in love. So, after accepting that my dream shoes were not for me, I found some dream shoes that actually suit me. The perfect everyday shoe.

I love these amazing beauty snaps inspired by the Mexican holiday Dia de Los Muertos from the october issue of Marie Claire US. The Frida Kahlo hairstyles, vibrant colours and Catholic references work oh so well. I have got to start wearing scarves in my hair! Read more..
I’ve recently found this teeny tiny heart ring from when I was a kid and completely fell in love with it all over again. I love wearing it on my little finger, and every time I look at it, it reminds me of my childhood. Perfection!

I’ve failed to update you properly on the travels I did this year. There are still some posts from Thailand that need to be written, and I’ve been to Berlin and Budapest, but there is nothing on the blog that shows it, is there!?
I went to Berlin with my boyfriend for a short weekend to visit some friends in march and it was magical. The weather was amazing, we went to see Florence and the Machine in Columbiahalle, and we spent hours talking over brunch, dinner and drinks. The 48 hours we spent there seemed like an eternity (in a good way!). Read more..
A quick snap of what I wore to grab some sushi last night. The sweater is new and (as Marijs predicted when I tried it on in store) I have been sporting it non stop. I just love the tiger, and it seems to work with so much in my wardrobe.
