Bonnieux Road Tripping

Sunshine makes us happy, I think that was about quite clear by now. Sitting in my garden reminds me of the amazing road trip I did with a couple of my girlfriends. Being in the south of France with true friends really felt like the break with reality that I needed at the time. For five days we were able to do everything that we wanted including cocktails at 3 pm, playing petanque in bikinis and enjoying good food. Every morning we spent visiting the small villages with loads of locally sourced products like great cheeses, fragrant soaps and beautifully colored and delicious vegetables. Afternoons were spent next to the pool with some champagne and hundreds of amazing talks. Sweet girls, when are we going back?

  4. Bonnieux! My most favorite of Provencial small towns. The maekrt there is intimate, diverse and so picturesque. Last fall we combed all over this area. Yes, even stopping in front of Vicki Archer’s favorite macaroon shop in St. Remy (it was closed!). Bonnieux holds a special place in our trip. Also, it is VERY hard to see any houses in Provence. Everything is very tucked away and out of tourists view. Thank you for giving us a glimpse into what we knew was there but couldn’t see!
