Betsey Johnson on Edie Sedgwick

I have had a fascination with the Andy Warhol created Superstar, Edie Sedgwick, for some time now. As Vogue named her a youthquaker, Edie was a stylemaker unlike a lot of it-girls of the moment. Therefore I wanted to post this video of the amazing Betsey Johnson who worked with Edie for almost a year as her fitting model and on the last movie she ever acted in, Ciao! Manhatten.

I’m so excited to let you know that I’ve started a new blog. You can find me on Rooftop Antics. See you there!

  1. I love the way she keeps talking haha! The statement about how the sixties was the first time there was ever invented a new fashion is just wrong, though. I mean, what about the twenties for example?
